The Hut Group, the health & lifestyle e-retailer, is further strengthening its presence in the cosmetics space with the acqusition of mascara brand Eyeko, Cosmetics Business reports.
Eyeko, a UK firm founded in 1999, specialises in a range of eye cosmetics including mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow, as well as offering eye care products such as serum and cleansing wipes.
The deal is the latest in a series of acquisitions that has bolstered The Hut Group’s position in the beauty space. Last year, the firm acquired spa brand ESPA as well as Ilamasqua, Glossybox and the retailer RY.
