Global meat firm JBS has announced the acquisition of a 50% stake in egg specialist Mantiqueira, entering a new product category in the process. Mantiqueira currently has facilities in six Brazilian states but its products are available in ten more and also exported. Its brands include Happy Eggs and Fazenda da Toca.
