Gourmet Italian Food, a diversified food manufacturer, has announced the acquisition of Firma Italia, an Italian producer of dried ready meals. Firma Italia was founded in 1995 by Silvano and Mario Birolo and produces a wide range of ready meals, including pasta, risotto, soup, sauces and ethnic meals.
