Danish food company Hanegal has announced the acquisition of Fairdig, a plant-based ready-meals producer for an undisclosed sum. Based in Ega, Denmark, Fairdig produces frozen ready-meals inspired in world cuisine flavours such as Indian, Italian, Mexican, and Moroccan. This acquisition follows Hanegal plan to have “85% of its products aligned with the plant-based category by 2030”.
