Scandinavian retail chain Coop has announced the launch of its first unmanned store located at Satrahojden in Gavle, Sweden The store, part of a move by Coop to explore innovative retail solutions, was tested last summer and will be operated by Coop Mitt, a co-operative running more than 60 stores in Gastrikland, Halsingland, Dalarna, Uppland and Vastmanland.
