Alsur

American private equity firm Acon has announced the acquisition of Alsur, a Spanish-based producer and distributor of preserved and canned vegetables. Founded by the Jimenez family in 1988, Alsur has production and packaging facilities in Spain, and Peru to serve the US market. The company has its own brand producing also private label products.
