Agrial, a French agricultural and agrifood co-operative, has announced the acquisition of dry charcuterie producer Rochebillard et Blein. Rochebillard et Blein has 115 employees over three production sites – two in Violay and one in Taninges, producing nearly 2,000 tonnes of various charcuterie products that are sold in supermarkets, charcuterie shops, and traditional butchers. Agrial, the agri-food co-operative, is to acquire the Brittany-based charcuterie firm Tallec, according to a report in Les Echos. Headquarterted in Bannalec, Tallec manufactures traditional ham, terrines and pate, generating €37 million ($44 million) in annual revenue. It operates from two factories and employs around 200 staff.
