Global FMCG giant Nestle has announced an investment of 1,900 billion VND ($73.32 million) to expand its Tri An coffee facility in the southern Vietnamese province of Dong Nai.
The spending commitment is part of a wider 4,300 billion VND ($165.4 million) investment strategy for the factory during the 2024-2025 period, aimed at boosting production capabilities and advancing technology.
Commenting on the move, Nestle Vietnam MD Binu Jacob said: “Our continuous investment underscores Nestlé’s unwavering confidence in Vietnam’s potential and our long-term commitment to its sustainable growth. As we celebrate over 30 years of contributing to the country’s development, we remain dedicated to investing in human capital, technological innovation and sustainable development”.
“We will continue to work together with the country to provide quality nutritional products and create shared value with initiatives that positively impact communities and enhance the lives of all Vietnamese”, he added.
This new investment will bring Nestle’s total investment in Vietnam to around 20,200 billion VND ($777 million).
