Swiss meat firm Bell is taking over based charcuterie specialist Cher-Mignon, the company has announced.
With an annual sales of CHF 13 million ($13 million), Cher Mignon represents the third acquisition for the Swiss Bell Group in the last eight months, following the purchase of poultry firm Huber and salad specialist Eisberg.
“The merger ensures the continuation of Cher-Mignon’s manufacturing activities. For Bell Switzerland, this is the ideal way to expand its expertise in regional charcuterie specialities”, the company said in a statement.
Bell Group added that Cher-Mignon was a “company of great tradition and the leader in its segment”.
Parties involved have agreed to not disclose the terms of the agreement.
