The Coca-Cola bottlers Arca Continental of Mexico and Corporacion Lindley of Peru have announced an alliance that will create one of the world’s largest Coca-Cola bottling firms.

The new entity will have revenues of approximately $5.4 billion and EBITDA of $1.1 billion.  Currently, Mexican firm FEMSA is the largest private Coca-Cola bottler with revenues of nearly $10 billion in 2014.

Manuel L Barragan Morales, chairman of the board of directors of Arca Continental, commented: “The union of two winning entities with a solid organizational culture will drive the value creation strategy that we have been implementing throughout our history and will enable us to strengthen the competitiveness and leadership of our products in the region, as always, under a framework of sustainability and social responsibility”.
