Japanese snack manufacturer Koikeya has added to its line of sweet flavour potato crisps with a new Strawberry Shortcake variety.
Koikeya Strawberry Shortcake Crisps were said to be have been launched in time for Christmas season when cake products are in high demand. The special edition flavour is said to be made with domestically produced Tochiotome-type strawberries, and is claimed to have an authentic strawberry shortcake flavour. The company began taking pre-bookings for a limited run of 300 cases of 12 bags that are each said to come with a Christmas card from the company.
Koikeya sweet crisps were first launched in May 2015, promoted as an ideal breakfast snack, among other uses.
