French retail giant Carrefour is introducing new supermarket and convenience store formats in Italy under the names Carrefour Market Attrazione 2.0 (‘Attraction 2.0’) and Carrefour Express 3 Minuti (‘3 Minutes’).
According to European Supermarket Magazine, Carrefour Attrazione 2.0 is 2,500 sq m in size. Located in Promezia (Lagio), it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is describing as carrying over 16,000 lines. The store is also said to feature more than 1,000 locally produced items, as well as a Bio section with more than 800 organic, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan products.
Carrefour Express 3 Minuti, meanwhile, which has opened in Genoa, is said to feature the convenience of a 160 sq m store with a simple and quick shopping experience. The products on offer are said to include a high quality breakfast range, quick lunch options, snacks and ready meals, as well as a variety of convenient services.
Carrefour operates 71 Express stores in Genoaa, part of a network of 147 stores in the Liguria region.
