The Hut Group, an online health and beauty businesses, has announced the acquisition of Christophe Robin, a “luxury” natural haircare brand, for an undisclosed sum.
Christophe Robin offers a range of 70 different products including shampoos, masks, conditioners, “colour boosts” and lotions designed for a variety of different needs. The brand has listings in multiple geographies including the UK, US, Europe and Asia through retailers such as Sephora and Space NK.
Commenting on the deal, The Hut Group said the acquisition represented a further strategic investment in its international beauty offering.
“Christophe Robin products are a perfect addition to THG’s portfolio of brands, with a strong ethos and positioning within the haircare market”, added The Hut Group CEO Matthew Moulding. “We will leverage our world-class e-commerce platform, THG Ingenuity, and our global marketing structure to take the brand to new customers across the world.
