Canada: Above Food acquires quinoa producer NorQuin

Canadian plant-based food supplier, Above Food, has acquired a local quinoa products supplier Northern Quinoa Production Corp. (NorQuin).

NorQuin, is the leading quinoa producer in the world providing a broad portfolio of quinoa in a variety of formats, such as whole seeds, flour, flakes, crisps, IQF, multi-grain blends, among others.

The acquisition of NorQuin will add a wide portfolio of specialised value added quinoa products to Above Food alongside a growing business.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
