Brazilian food and beverage manufacturer Yoki Alimentos has recently expanded its beverage range by entering the ready to drink functional tea market.
The new tea has been launched under the Yoki Mais Vita brand and all the varieties are claimed to be free from sodium, calories, sugar and carbohydrates.
Four variants have been introduced in total: Green Tea with Lemon, Black Tea with Orange and Guarana Extract, Green Tea with Lemon, Ginger & Honey, and Hibiscus Tea with Blackberry.
According to Yoki Alimentos, the Green Tea with Lemon variety is good for the digestive system and has detox benefits, while the Black Tea with Orange and Guarana Extract is energizing and directly assists in keeping the heart healthy. The Green Tea with Lemon, Ginger & Honey is meanwhile claimed to have anti-inflammatory properties to support the immune system, and the Hibiscus Tea with Blackberry is said to work as an antioxidant, accelerating the metabolism and supporting weight loss.
Yoki Mais Vita Tea has initially been launched in the South, Southeast, Midwest and North regions of Brazil and is expected to be available throughout the country by the start of 2018.
