Uni Alimentos, a manufacturer of food products, is launching a new line of snacks based on traditional Brazilian staple ingredients.
Chips Brasil is a range of four snacks made from manioc and sweet potato and comes in a choice of four flavours.
Vagner Gomes, Uni Alimentos CEO said that aim of the launch was to link Brazilian staple foods with modern dietary trends.
“Today we are marketing products that meet the needs of a broad range of consumers, from those who are focused on fitness to those concerned about their wellbeing, from those with specific dietary requirements to children”, he said. “The concept of Chips Brazil is to reconnect Brazilian food with its roots, and appeal to everyone with a strongly differentiated product”.
Chips Brasil Snacks retail in 35g bags in plain manioc and sweet potato varieties, as well as two flavoured manioc varieties: Onion & Parsley and Chilli & Lime.
