The Australian arm of FMCG giant Nestle is launching an extension to its KitKat chocolate wafer range called KitKat 2 Ways, according to a report in Australian Food News.
KitKat 2 Ways features two flavours, split half and half in the same ‘finger’: Mint 2 Ways combines “intense crisp mint” and “creamy smooth mint”, while Caramel Pretzel 2 Ways combines sweet caramel and salt caramel, both topped with a pretzel wafer.
Both varieties are available as a 170g block at an RRP of A$5.49 ($4.33). The Mint variety is also available as 45g bar with an RRP of A$1.99 ($1.57), while the Caramel Pretzel is also available as a 65g ‘share’ bar with an RRP of $A2.49 ($1.96).
Commenting on the launch, Anna Stewart, Nestle head of marketing confectionery, said: “With all the products we develop at KITKAT, we aim to surprise and delight. We hope KITKAT 2 Ways will put a smile back into the break of all chocolate-loving Aussies”.
KitKat 2 Ways is described as the first in a series of new KitKat products to be released by Nestle in Australia in 2018.
