Honest to Goodness, an Australian health food manufacturer, has announced the acquisition of the Pimp My Salad and Pimp My Snack snacking brands from Komarov Food.
Pimp My Snack offers health-oriented sweet and savoury snacks that are described as slow baked for a light and crunchy texture. Founded in Byron Bay, Pimp My Salad markets snacks, salad toppers, and vegan mayonnaise.
Commenting on the move, Honest to Goodness company founder and managing director Matt Ward said: “These brands have carved out a unique niche and are popular among health-conscious consumers looking for simple ways to enhance their snacking and meals with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nutrient-rich ingredients like sprouted seeds, superfoods, and plant-based proteins”.
“Integrating these strong, consumer-recognised brands into our product portfolio, not only allows us to reach a broader customer demographic, they also seamlessly fit into our existing distribution network and manufacturing capabilities, underscoring our dedication to maintaining quality and ensuring operational efficiency,” he added.
Honest to Goodness added that the acquisition was part of its broader expansion strategy, following the acquisition of 2die4 Live Foods in 2021 and the Absolute Organic and Eco Organic brands in 2023.
