Goat milk manufacturer Bubs Australia has announced that it has made an agreement with Heilongjiang Ubeite Dairy Group (HUG) to produce and distribute Bubs China label goat milk infant formula in China.
According to a Bubs press release, the new “ultra-premium” Bubs China label infant formula range has been created exclusively for the Chinese market, based on easy to digest A2 goat milk protein, with premium ingredients, sn2 palmitate, lactoferrin, prebiotics and nucleotides.
Kristy Carr, Bubs founder and CEO, said: “We are pleased to announce this important milestone for the company to renew an existing registered SAMR brand slot for Bubs China label goat infant formula products in partnership with a reputable Chinese infant formula manufacturer”.
If the deal is approved by China’s State Administration for Market Supervision (SAMR), the company will gain access to the remaining 80% of China’s $25.9 billion instant formula market.
Bubs Australia expects to launch the new range in the second half of 2023.
