Polish branch of supermarket chain Netto has announced this week that it is moving its headquarters to Harmony Office Center II in Warsaw.
According to sources, the retailer will take 2000 sq. metres within the complex which has a favourable position due to its proximity to Warsaw city centre and very good public transport access as well as a metro station that is only 900 metres away.
The move has, reportedly, been in the plans of Netto Poland since the acquisition of Tesco stores in Poland and the expansion in eastern and southern Poland.
CEO of Netto Poland, Hugo Mesquita, said: “During last year, after the acquisition of nearly 300 Tesco shops, Netto Poland expanded to 650 sites across the country. This is the perfect moment to take action aimed to ensure further business development and expanding the team, whose support is needed for further growth”.
From the current administration team, 20% will remain in the current office in Szczecin, becoming a western Poland regional branch, where the headquarters of Netto Poland was located since 1995.
