Entrepreneur and investor, David Adelman, has announced that his family office Darco Capital, has acquired the spirit brands American Harvest Vodka and Beach Whiskey, forming the 1776 Spirits Company.
According to Business Wire, the new company intends to provide the infrastructure and resources to market the beverages, distribute and expand distribution, and develop innovative beverages.
Rebecca Running, CEO of 1776 Spirits said: “American Harvest Vodka is poised to appeal to today’s market of thoughtful, value-driven individuals. I see this fully American-made, award-winning, USDA certified organic spirit that can compete strongly with other American vodka incumbents and attract consumers with its distinctly smooth and silky profile that finishes with a crisp, clean taste. Meanwhile, Beach Whiskey will attract a younger demographic that’s culturally diverse, female-forward, and passionate about an active outdoors lifestyle and provide them with a product that’s the perfect complement to daytime and nighttime drinking experiences”.
American Harvest organic vodka is handcrafted in Idaho in small batches and the company is planning to introduce five botanical drink seltzer flavours in 2021 under the brand.
Beach Whiskey is available in two flavours, Island Coconut and Bonfire Cinnamon and there are plans to launch ready-to-drink cocktails in 2021.
