Darco Capital, via the newly-formed 1776 Spirits Company, has announced it has acquired the spirit brands American Harvest Vodka and Beach Whiskey.
The new company said it intended to provide the infrastructure and resources to market the brands, distribute and expand distribution, and develop innovative products.
Rebecca Running, CEO of 1776 Spiritsm said: “American Harvest Vodka is poised to appeal to today’s market of thoughtful, value-driven individuals. I see this fully American-made, award-winning, USDA certified organic spirit that can compete strongly with other American vodka incumbents and attract consumers with its distinctly smooth and silky profile that finishes with a crisp, clean taste. Meanwhile, Beach Whiskey will attract a younger demographic that’s culturally diverse, female-forward, and passionate about an active outdoors lifestyle and provide them with a product that’s the perfect complement to daytime and nighttime drinking experiences”.
American Harvest organic vodka is described as being handcrafted in Idaho in small batches. The company is also planning to introduce five botanical drink seltzer flavours in 2021 under the brand.
Beach Whiskey is available in Island Coconut and Bonfire Cinnamon varieties. 1776 Spirits Company said it also intended to launch ready-to-drink cocktails in 2021.
