Turkey Hill, the US-based food and drink company, has announced the acquisition of an ice cream production facility in Arkansas from Yarnell Ice Cream, a subsidiary of Schulze & Burch Biscuit Company.
Owned by an affiliate of Peak Rock Capital, Turkey Hill is a manufacturer of branded ice cream and refrigerated drinks in the United States.
According to sources, the 100,000 square foot facility will expand the company’s production capacity, capabilities, and geographic reach.
Rob Pistilli, managing director of Peak Rock Capital, said: “We are delighted that Turkey Hill has closed this acquisition. This investment comes with significant capacity expansion and novelty production capabilities that will enhance Turkey Hill’s brand appeal and ability to service and grow its loyal customer base”.
