Spanish company, Dacsa Group has completed the acquisition of the 100% company stake of Dacsa Atlantic, in which, had been 50% shareholder.
Previously called Atlantic Meals, Dacsa Atlantic is one of the leading Portuguese companies on the rice and maize market, specialised on drying, storage, processing and commercialisation of these products for the food and brewery industry as well as, large distributions chains with rice brands such as Ceifeira, Atlantic, LeChef and Sorraia.
With nine production plants and more than 500 employees, Dacsa Group said that this acquisition “will help to improve service and better serve market needs”.
According to sources, this operation involves strengthening the market positioning of Dacsa Group and its consolidation as a leader in the milling industry at the European level.
The financial terms of this deal were not disclosed.
