USA: Golding Farms to acquire Arcobasso Foods

Golding Farms Foods, a manufacturer of sauces and condiments, has announced the acquisition of Arcobasso Foods, a maker of dressings, sauces and beverage mixes.

The company said the deal would allow it to expand its portfolio of private label and branded products and grow its presence locally and nationally.

John Frostad, CEO of Golding Farms, said: “Arcobasso Foods is a special company with long-standing relationships and commitments to customers, suppliers, employees and the St. Louis community. The combination will meaningfully expand the Golding Farms team and manufacturing footprint, creating a specialty sauce and condiment platform capable of serving customers in almost every geography and channel of trade”.

Pat Newsham, president of Arcobasso Foods, added: “I am very proud of our success to date and the growth we have experienced since my brother founded the Company in 1987. Our combination with Golding Farms will allow us to be a better strategic partner for our customers”.
