Coca-Cola Singapore has announced the opening of a new storage and distribution center in Tuas.
Located opposite to an existing Coca Cola plant, the new $57.5 million facility includes an “overhead bridge with a conveyance system to transport products from the manufacturing facility to the storage warehouse and vice versa”, according to information reported on Foodbev.
President of Asia Pacific Group of The Coca-Cola Company John Murphy commented: “Asia is one of our fastest growing markets and we see high demand for our wide range of beverages across the region. This new distribution centre is an investment in automation and technology that will position the company for quality growth well into the future”.
The 19-storey facility will store brands such as Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, Heaven & Earth, Minute Maid and Powerade.
