Red Tree Beverages, a firewalled subsidiary of soft drinks giant Coca-Cola, is expanding its Minute Maid Spiked alcohol-ready-to-drink (ARTD) range with the launch of Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea.
Designed to round out the brand’s vodka lemonade offerings, the new beverage blends vodka with “bright” lemonade and “refreshing” iced tea. The product is a non-carbonated drink containing 3% lemon juice with an alcohol content of 5% abv. It is available across the US in an 8-pack of 12 oz (355ml) cans at an RRP of $16.99, as well as a 16 oz (473ml) single can priced at $3.49.
Commenting on the launch, Lou Grill, president of Red Tree Beverages, said: “As we continue to expand the brand, adding a Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea to the lineup made sense. The Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea is the ideal summer beverage as a familiar favorite with the bold taste of Minute Maid Spiked®.”
The wider Minute Maid Spiked portfolio includes wine-based cocktails such as Lime Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri, Pina Colada and Blue Hawaiian, alongside vodka-based offerings like Vodka Lemonade and Vodka Punch.
