PepsiCo, the global food and beverage company, has launched Wow, a new better-for-you snacking masterbrand in the UK.
The range brings together reformulated, non-HFSS (high in fat, salt, or sugar) lines from its established Wotsits and Snack a Jacks brands. Developed to provide healthier options across family snacking occasions, the portfolio features three distinct multipack varieties: Wotsits Real Cheesy, Wotsits Lightly Salted and Snack a Jacks Apple & Cinnamon. Both Wotsits variants are made from chickpea flour and provide a source of fibre, while the Snack a Jacks line uses corn and rice.
The multipacks carry an RRP of £2.30 ($3.00) for 6 x 16g packs. PepsiCo is executing a phased rollout, commencing with an exclusive retail window in selected Tesco stores on 9th September before expanding to nationwide supermarket distribution in March 2027.
Lauren Jones, marketing director for Better-for-You at PepsiCo, commented: “WOW is all about offering fun snack choices for families. By bringing Wotsits and Snack a Jacks into this new range, we’re giving families more choice across everyday snacking occasions, while creating a new opportunity for retailers within better-for-you snacking”.
The launch marks a structural replacement of PepsiCo’s previous healthier snacking line, Yummy With, which was delisted by UK retailers earlier this year.
