Ineos, a global leader in chemicals, has announced the sale of Ineos Hygienics, its healthcare and homecare venture, to SKG Capital Partners, a Middle Eastern-based family investment firm.
Founded in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic in an effort to meet demand for hand sanitiser, Ineos Hygienics has developed into a leading brand offering a wide range of household and personal care products, including multi-room cleaners, wipes, dish and hand wash, laundry detergent, fabric conditioner, body wash and deodorants.
In a statement, Ineos said: “The sale will enable the business to continue expanding within the FMCG sector, while INEOS focuses on strengthening its core chemicals, energy, and automotive portfolio”.
“INEOS thanks the INEOS Hygienics team for their dedication and wishes them continued success under new ownership”, the company concluded.
