Brazilian manufacturer Grupo GSA has announced the acquisition of LA Food, a producer of snacks described as being made from “healthy” ingredients. Founded in Parana, Brazil in 2011, LA Food is predominantly a private label manufacturer, with customers including the pharmacy chain Nissei, as well  Lojas Americanas,  for whom it manufactures products under the Leven banner.
