Aspiag Service, Spar’s regional operator for three Northeastern regions in Italy, has opened a new 18,000 square-metre distribution centre in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. According to Spar’s press release, the company invested €33 million ($34.9 million) in the facility, which currently employs more than 50 people, and has a 25,500-pallet capacity, featuring three floors with 1,700 sq. m. of office space.
