Unilever Spain & KH Loreda have finalised a long-term distribution agreement for the Unilever brands Cif and Domestos.
Cif and Domestos are among Unilever’s key cleaning brands in the household care industry and are available in 50 countries across the globe. The new agreement takes effect from the 15th February 2015.
The deal will allow KH Lloreda to increase its presence in the household care industry, the companies said in a joint statement.
Unilever will continue to manufacture both brands at its European facilities.
Javier Aguilera, President of Unilever Spain, commented that the agreement would “strengthen innovation capacity for two of our leading global brands in the Spanish market, providing support for them to grow”.
Meanwhile, Jose Maria Lloreda, KH Lloreda President, said that the deal represented: “an excellent opportunity to continue adding value in the categories in which we operate, and forms part of our ongoing process of innovation and leadership”.
