Suempol, the Polish seafood company, is to construct a modern fish processing centre in the municipality of Pelczyce, located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
According to reports in Portal Spozywczy and Rzeczpospolita, the new production facility is designed to expand the company’s overall processing capacity and is expected to create around 300 jobs. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2027.
In a statement cited by the outlets, Suempol said: “The investment will be carried out using advanced technological solutions and taking into account high standards in terms of quality, production safety and a responsible approach to the environment”.
Suempol’s product portfolio includes cold-smoked, hot-smoked, baked and fresh salmon and trout products, as well as fish dishes and spreads.
