Henglein, the fresh and chilled food producer, is planning to construct a modern manufacturing plant in Tucznawa, Dabrowa Grnicza, Poland.
The company, which makes dough-based and potato products, will invest 90 million PLN ($22 million) in the project. Located on a plot of nearly 5.6 hectares, the development will comprise a production hall, a fully automated technological line, a high-bay cold storage warehouse and administrative offices.
According to sources, the new facility is expected to create around 90 jobs. Once operational, the plant is anticipated to have an annual production capacity of approximately 40 million pieces of puff pastry and 10 million pizza bases.
The project has secured financial backing from the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE). It will reportedly incorporate modern, energy-efficient solutions and renewable energy sources.
