Capri Sun, the Switzerland-based beverage manufacturer, has commenced construction on a new production facility in Stargard, Poland.
The investment aims to expand the company’s production capabilities in Europe and lay the groundwork for future growth. The first phase of construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027 and represents an investment of more than €70 million ($76 million).
According to Capri Sun, the new site will create around 120 jobs in the region and has been designed to allow for potential future expansion. Strategically located, the Stargard facility will provide direct access to markets across Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Nordic countries, reducing delivery times and increasing supply chain flexibility.
Capri Sun Group CEO Roland Weening said: “With the new plant, we are reaching an important milestone in our growth strategy. At the same time, we are creating the conditions to meet the increasing demand for our products in Europe”.
The company’s main plant in Eppelheim, Germany, will continue to serve as its centre of expertise, supporting the global production network with know-how, training and innovation.
