Beverage firm Baly Brasil has announced an investment of R$30.9 million ($5.7 million) to boost logistics and support the company’s global expansion plans.
According to Giro News, Baly Brasil acquired the Itagres Revestimentos Ceramicos facility and associated equipment in Tubarao, Santa Catarina at a court auction, and has plans to convert it into a logistics support centre.
Baly Brasil markets a range of energy drinks with caffeine and taurine as active ingredients.
“The acquisition of this facility is a milestone for Baly”, commented Baly Brasil operations director Mário Júnior Cardoso. “It’s a move that ensures solid infrastructure to support our growth and distribution opportunities in Brazil, in addition to strengthening our international presence”.
“We already export to Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Mexico, and the United States, and we see new opportunities in both Latin America and North America”, he added.
