Nichols, the diversified UK-based soft drinks group, has acquired 100% of the share capital of functional drinks business VITHIT for a total cash consideration of €75.0 million ($82.3 million) on a debt-free, cash-free basis.
Founded in Dublin in 2001, VITHIT produces a range of low-calorie, low-sugar functional beverages fortified with vitamins. The company holds market-leading positions in the UK and Ireland alongside a presence across 13 other international markets. In the financial year ended 31st December 2025, VITHIT recorded revenue of €26.5 million ($29.1 million) and an adjusted operating profit of €4.2 million ($4.6 million).
Nichols will retain VITHIT’s Dublin office and will be supported by its management team, some of whom will step away after a smooth transition, while chairman and founder Gary Lavin will step down from day one.
