Carmencita, the Spanish spice and condiment producer, has advanced its operational structure with the launch of a new logistics warehouse in Elche, Spain.
The new facility, spanning over 10,000 sq m, is located in the Elche Industrial Park. According to the company, the development represents a strategic step to optimise logistical processes, gain operational agility and reinforce traceability across the supply chain.
The platform is designed to allow Carmencita to centralise management, facilitating greater workflow coordination and more efficient handling of inventories and orders.
“The main objective is to strengthen logistics control and provide the company with a more solid structure prepared for growth”, the company claimed.
The project officially commenced on the 14th April with the onboarding of logistics management teams and warehouse staff training. Further implementation will be carried out progressively throughout 2026.
In its initial phase, the new warehouse will take over operations currently managed from the company’s base in Novelda.
Subsequently, raw material and auxiliary material management will be integrated, concluding with the incorporation of finished products.
