Dr. Schar, a specialist in gluten free baked goods, has announced that the company is expanding its existing facility in Swedesboro (NJ).
In a press release, the company said it was investing $28 million in the facility in order to improve product consistency, efficiency and overall baking, as well as higher quality office space.
Commenting on the move, Jim Morris, general manager of Schar North America, said: “This expansion is about more than just physical space — it’s about investing in our people and the future of our products. We’re excited to continue growing as a team and delivering the quality our customers expect while creating a workplace our employees are proud of”.
The Swedesboro facility has been operating since 2012.
