USA: Mount Franklin Foods acquires Stuffed Puffs

Mount Franklin Foods, a leading manufacturer of branded, contract and private label confectionery, nuts and foodservice products, has announced the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based Stuffed Puffs, a maker of filled marshmallows, for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 2019, Stuffed Puffs is known for a proprietary technology that allows it to create marshmallows filled with milk chocolate and other ingredients.

The Mount Franklin Foods portfolio includes gummies, jellies, mints, fruit snacks, and nut and snack mixes, offered under brands such as Azar Nut, Sunrise Confections and Hospitality Mints.

Commenting on the acquisition, Mount Franklin Foods CEO Enrique Grajeda: “As we continue to evolve our business, the acquisition of Stuffed Puffs represents a significant step in broadening our confectionery portfolio.
