Laird Superfood, a maker of plant-based packaged beverage products, has entered into an agreement to acquire Picky Bars for $12 million in cash and stock.
Founded in 2010 by professional athletes, Picky Bars is a manufacturer of wholesome snacks and breakfast products such as nutrition bars, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, and nut butter.
Picky Bars CEO Jesse Thomas said that the acquisition will “accelerate our already strong growth by expanding our distribution, enhancing our product development, and creating even more jobs in our local community.”
