Refrigerated and frozen soup producer Kettle Cuisine has announced that it has acquired the privately-held California-based custom food manufacturing firm Del Monaco Foods, which makes products for private label soups and sauces and other specialty items.
Kettle Cuisine said that this was the firm’s second deal since being acquired by Kainos Capital in August 2015. The new transaction is expected to create “the only true coast to coast fresh soup producer” and to open the door for the companies to expand and grow nationwide.
