US based meat snack company Jack Link’s has announced plans to expand with a new manufacturing plant in Perry, Georgia.
According to sources, the company estimates an investment of $450 million and the creation of 800 new job positions.
Chief executive of Jack Link’s, Troy Link, said “We are excited to partner with the state of Georgia and Houston County on this state-of-the-art facility, we are grateful for the opportunity to invest in Perry for the long term and are committed to becoming a strong community advocate”.
Jack Link’s currently owns several manufacturing facilities throughout the United States and also in Germany, New Zealand, and Brazil.
The new 120 acre facility is expected to be fully operational by late 2023.
