Conagra Brands, the leading US food manufacturer, has announced it is expanding its Reddi-Wip whipped topping brand into the coffee creamer category with the launch of its new Barista Series of cream-based products.
The company said its new Nitro Creamer and Sweet Foam products were designed to give consumers a coffeehouse experiences any time of day, without the coffee shop lines or price.
“Given the continued strength of coffee sales and the fact that many consumers already use our regular Reddi-wip in their coffee, we saw an exciting opportunity to bring a cream-based innovation to market that would better replicate popular coffee drinks and the coffeehouse experience but in the convenience of home or work”, said Ryan Clark, president of the refrigerated and frozen division at Conagra Brands.
Reddi-Wip Barista Series Nitro Creamer and Sweet Foam products have a distinctive taste that is different to regular Reddi-Wip whipped topping, delivering dairy sweetness and notes of vanilla, Conagra Brands added.
The line goes on sale in May and has an RRP of $3,99 for a 6oz can.
