Conagra Brands, the US-based food giant, has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations in Fayetteville (AR). The project involves a $150 million investment to increase the production capacity of its frozen meal brands, including Marie Callender’s and Healthy Choice.
The expansion includes the addition of 100,000 sq m to the existing facility, which currently employs approximately 1,200 people. This development is expected to create 159 new jobs in the region over the next few years. According to the company, the investment is a response to growing consumer demand for its frozen food portfolio.
Commenting on the expansion, Chuck Eldridge, Conagra Brands vice president of Global Supply Chain, said: “We are excited to continue our growth in Fayetteville. This investment will allow us to better serve our customers and consumers by increasing our capacity for some of our most popular brands”.
This move follows Conagra’s ongoing strategy to modernise its supply chain. The Fayetteville expansion is slated for completion by late 2026.
