Nestle, the Swiss consumer goods giant, has announced the launch of Max Pro, a line of frozen pizza in the USA under the Vital Pursuit brand umbrella.
The new pizzas contain 33g of protein and 17g of fibre per serving and are available in Cheese Lovers and Chicken Mozzarella varieties with a suggested retail price of $4.99.
The Max Pro pizzas are an addition to company’s the Vital Pursuit brand line announced last May, which is specially designed for diabetics who are currently prescribed a weight loss medication or actively working to manage their weight.
Announcing the launch of Vital Pursuit at the time, Nestle North America CEO Steve Presley said: “At Nestlé we want to be there for every moment in our consumers’ lives – today and in the future. As the use of medications to support weight loss continues to rise, we see an opportunity to serve those consumers. Vital Pursuit provides accessible, great-tasting food options that support the needs of consumers in this emerging category”.
