Quintessential Brands reports that is has acquired Marblehead, the brand development and distribution company. Both companies had been operating in partnership since 2013.
Ypioca Cachaca, Don Papa Rum and Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur are among brands recently added to the Marblehead portfolio. Marblehead also distributes the Quintessential gin brands Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin and Berkeley Square London Dry Gin, as well as Bloom Gin in the off-trade.
According to Warren Scott, Quintessential Brands co-founder: “Quintessential Brands’ acquisition assures Marblehead of an exciting future and brings a highly respected brand development agency into our group of companies. Marblehead’s acquisition is part of our strategy to become one of the leading European independent players in the spirits industry.”
