Muller Wiseman Dairies is expanding its range with the launch its first packet butter, being made available for the convenience retail and foodservice sectors.
Described as being part of the company’s strategy that aims “to add value to every drop of milk”, Muller Wiseman Dairies Butter is claimed to be made from British cream fresh every week, and “offers customers a quality, traceable product made with milk from Red Tractor approved British farms”, according to a statement.
Muller Wiseman Dairies Managing Director Carl Ravenhall commented: “Our business generates in excess of 90 million litres of excess cream each year, but investing in our butter offering means we now have much more flexibility and opportunity for innovation and expansion in how we add value to this cream”.
“We are ambitious for the future of British butter, and see a range of opportunities for us in the pipeline in terms of packs, sizes, formats, both in own label and branded. Watch this space”.
Muller Wiseman Dairies Butter is available in salted and unsalted formats, with an RRP of £1.49 ($2.30) for 250g.
