Mondelez International has added a new playful brand range to the Cadbury Dairy Milk line up in the UK, according to a report in Talking Retail.
The new Cadbury Dairy Milk Puddles is described as a chocolate tablet in the shape of rippled ‘puddles’, with a smooth cream filling, and is reportedly targeting younger female consumers.
Matthew Williams, marketing director at Mondelēz International, commented: “The young people of today live in a tough world so enjoying the lighter side of life is important, and chocolate is ideal for making these moments even more enjoyable. The shape of the new tablet will reignite memories of childhood fun and carefree moments of jumping in puddles and will bring a light-hearted feeling to the category”.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Puddles is available in Smooth Mint and Smooth Hazelnut flavours as a 90g tablet priced at an RRP of £1.49 ($2.33).
