GHF, the London-based premium drinks brand development agency, has announced the acquisition of UK whisky brand Fielden for an undisclosed sum.
The deal marks the first outright brand acquisition for GHF, which specialises in scaling high-quality drinks brands through strategy and sales execution. Fielden, formerly known as The Oxford Artisan Distillery until a 2024 rebrand and relocation to Yorkshire, is a modern UKrye whisky producer rooted in regenerative farming. The company grows heritage grains across 1,400 acres on 18 farms.
Tristram Coates, founder and CEO of GHF, commented: “Fielden is a perfect addition to GHF as our first acquisition, and we are incredibly excited to be building this brand alongside fellow like-minded and mission-led British spirit producers. Under GHF’s stewardship, Fielden will benefit from deep trade relationships and a long-term commitment to growing English whisky with integrity and cultural relevance”.
The acquisition comes as the English whisky category expands, with annual production now exceeding 500,000 bottles according to the English Whisky Guild. GHF plans to relaunch Fielden into the UK on-trade and selected off-trade channels in early 2026.
