Ganassini, an Italian personal care firm, is acquiring UK luxury beauty brand The Organic Pharmacy, according to a report in Cosmetics Business.
The deal, which marks Ganassini’s entry into the organic products space, will see The Organic Pharmacy sit alongside Ganassini’s other brands such as Rilastil and Korff, and also the natural beauty brand Bioclin.
The Organic Pharmacy offers a broad personal care range including skin and body care as well as male grooming and baby products. The firm currently distributes to 28 countries worldwide and operates four standalone stores in London, UK, as well as two in the US.
Commenting on the deal, The Organic Pharmacy founders Margo and Francesco Marrone said: “We are particularly proud of having launched and developed The Organic Pharmacy, a brand which we believe strongly helps people to live healthier lives. […] We are delighted to continue growing The Organic Pharmacy with the help of the Ganassini family”.
